Howes Design Co is an innovative and design driven practice consisting of a small professional and personalised team. Our aim is to provide contemporary, and functional designs which reflect the needs, and individuality of our clients. Each brief, client and site provides us with a new opportunity to create a rewarding building, and observe the effects that these spaces have on our clients and their lives. Our vision is to create beautifully designed, technologically advanced, energy efficient houses that are affordable.
Born and bred in Africa, having lived and travelled to various parts of the world I decided to settle in WA. After graduating with a Diploma of Building Design and Construction, I went on to work for a reputable building company in Perth, before venturing out to start Howes Design Co (formally Howes & Homes Designs). As the owner of Howes Design Co my role is diverse, but my love lies in the design work.
My interest for design, building and architecture started at a very young age. As a child I would build 'tiny' houses from sticks and leaves. Coming from a family of four competitive brothers with varying art abilities I spent much of my childhood drawing; with the motivation of becoming better than my older brothers. This led to my mother covering our home in drawings by her sons.
When I’m not working on ways to improve the business you'll find me enjoying the beach with my two young boys and wife, or trying my hand at renovating our Falcon Bay home.

After moving from Zimbabwe to Australia as a young child I have spent most of my life in Mandurah. When I clock off from my full time gig as mum to two toddlers, I clock on as jack of all trades at Howes Design Co.
The many hats I wear include Admin, marketing, PA and cheerleader (most importantly). As Greg began Howes Design Co shortly after we got married it has very much been a massive part of our lives, and something we are both passionate about.
On the rare occasion I have not got a child hanging to my leg, a clip board in my hand or a lap top in-front of me, I enjoy finding my zen with a bit of yoga, or sipping on a glass of red.

Born in Western Australia, I have travelled and lived all over the country with my husband and 4 girls. I have taken on many roles over the years, adapting to whatever opportunities that have presented themselves.
I have now come full circle and have settled back in my home, Perth Western Australia and am enjoying the challenges and rewards of working with the great team at Howes Design Co.
Currently I am Administration/Accounts Manager, however with the support and encouragement of Greg & Josh, I have enrolled in a Certificate IV in Residential Drafting to help further my career and achieve my goals.

I have always had a passion for renovating and developing properties, my husband and I spend much of our time looking for the next deal. We live on acreage with a vineyard and enjoy rural life with our girls.
Balancing my family life and work life is very important to me and I am lucky to be working with people that share my values.

My private & professional journey began in Queensland where I graduated with a Diploma of Building Design & Technology.
Moving to Western Australia in 2014, Perth has become home where we designed and built our first home.

Whether it's helping juggling my four young boys at home or tackling a tricky design brief at work, I love a good challenge!
I'm passionate about challenging the "status quo" in design, striving for each client's dream to make a house their home.

Outside of work I find my worth in Community with my Family, Church Family & Close Friends.
